This housing design is adapted to the environmental climate conditions in Lagos, Nigeria where high temperatures are common most part of the year, this conditions allow for a strategy that reduces direct solar exposition in interior spaces in order to get environmental comfort and to reduce energy consumption of artificial ventilation systems. The project also has a premise to create open common interior spaces without divisory walls which would suggest an open space of better sensorial experience as this spaces are directly visually related with the social area in the big filled backyard.
